The client, a Qatar based shipping company was established in 2004 by the State of Qatar to own, operate and manage liquefied natural gas vessels. The company operates in the maritime precinct and provides services to a large number of companies within the Qatari hydrocarbon sector. It is an integral component of renowned advanced energy projects; first of its kind in the world that are undertaken by Qatar petroleum, Qatar gas, Ras gas and their partners.Empowering HCM processes for a major marine company with SAP SuccessFactors 

 




Business Situation & Requirements



 

With more than 2000 employees and a considerable number of contingent workforce, this organization was confronting issues with streamlining its workforce alongside challenges in benchmarking execution levels of each representative. The current framework needed perceivability and brought about an ineffective contracting and evaluation process.

• Compensation Management replacing the legacy system and linking corresponding performance metrics

• BizXpert agile methodology as a part of rapid deployment solutions to make the system up and running in weeks

Care was taken in re-skilling and training using “train the trainer model” at the client place. Quality audits, quality management review along with quality assurance and control activities like module testing, integration testing, system testing and UAT were performed. Kaar strictly adhered to checkpoints of the BizXpert methodology which included scope and project readiness, configuration acceptance, integration testing acceptance and production readiness acceptance to ensure a high quality delivery within the stipulated time.
